This way: Your Rival
The band Vera Violent was originally formed in 1985 by brothers Brien and David O'Sullivan and their friend Alan Fitzpatrick in Waterford, Ireland. The band played locally in Waterford for a few years. Playing petered out as family and work took priority. They got back together for two gigs in Waterford the mid-2000's.
Since 1989, David, the main songwriter, continued to write and record new material on his Tascam 4-track, and later on ProTools and Cubase.
In 2014, David found himself living in Sligo, 4 hours from his home in Waterford. It was here that he formed a new Vera Violent line-up for playing live and recording. His now wife, Paula, plays bass and their good friend, Jason Geraghty plays drums.
