This way: The Next Not Nice Person
Here is a cool Phoenix band I have met recently, making some grand music. They have a very unique hard rock sound. Fat Gray Cat, a quintet out of Phoenix, Arizona is an original rock band influenced by 1970′s punk & rock. FGC has opened for JFA, Alvarius B, Clutch, The Rollins Band, M.I.R.V., No Means No, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, The Dickies, Shattered Faith ,CH3, Love Canal, MC5, Mike Watt and many others. Michael Pistrui, the band’s lead singer and manager has been part of the Arizona punk scene since the late 1980's. The band is tirelessly involved in the local music scene, playing a variety of venues in the Phoenix area, Flagstaff, and Bisbee, Tuscon, and Southern California. Fat Gray Cat also plays in an acoustic unplugged version with additional percussion and horns, every song. Members: Matt McNutt - Guitar, Scot Leith - Drums, Michael Pistrui - Vocals, Greg Gleason - Bass, Mickey 2x - Guitar.
