“Tomorrow We get Healthy”, Spike Fuck

This way: Tomorrow We get Healthy

Spike Fuck grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She used heroin and other drugs for several years and was subsequently dependent on methadone for more than three years. She began performing under the Spike Fuck moniker in 2015.

Her work draws primarily from her experience as a recovering heroin addict, her struggle with gender dysphoria, and her faith as a Catholic. She describes her music as "smackwave", drawing on the slang term for heroin and referring to a style influenced by new wave and post-punk, as well as country music. She has cited Roky Erickson and Scott Walker as influences.

In 2019 she signed to Partisan Records. As of 2019, she was preparing to move to London and had begun work on her debut full-length album; tentatively titled BellaDonna DeathTrip.
