“Pretty Boy Floyd”, Woody Guthrie
This way: Pretty Boy Floyd
Is there anybody better then Woody Guthrie? I fear to know what music would be like today with out him. Woody Guthrie wrote a protest song romanticizing Floyd's life in 1939 called "Pretty Boy Floyd" which recounted Floyd's supposed generosity to the poor. It satirically compared foreclosing bankers to outlaws.
